But as flower lovers and growers, we are always searching for unique forms, richer fragrances, and blooms that extend our brief, magical spring window. We have been quietly trialing and sourcing something special behind the scenes, and we are absolutely thrilled to introduce five magnificent new varieties to our collection. For gardeners planning their autumn root updates, these are the showstoppers you’ll want to reserve.
1. Do Tell
- Color: Orchid Pink & Magenta
- Form: Anemone / Japanese Form
If you want a flower that completely breaks away from the traditional peony silhouette, Do Tell is an absolute masterpiece. It features a striking Japanese-style form where the soft, outer guard petals open to form a delicate, pale orchid-pink cup. Inside, it holds a dramatic, frothy center packed with a contrasting mix of deep magenta, white, and golden-yellow petaloids. It is an award-winning selection that floral designers covet for adding texture and artistic flair to high-end spring arrangements.
2. Angel Cheeks
- Color: Soft Cameo Pink
- Form: Bomb Double
True to its sweet name, Angel Cheeks produces exceptionally neat, large, bomb-type double blooms in a soft, glowing cameo-pink. Look closely at its tightly clustered center, and you will find subtle red flecks and warm ivory undertones nesting at the base of the petals. 5. Jacorma

Bred in the Netherlands and highly sought after because it is rarely offered by large commercial nurseries, Jacorma is our secret weapon for extending the peony season. It is famously one of the absolute last varieties to bloom in late spring. Just as other varieties begin to fade, Jacorma bursts forth with massive, exhibition-quality double flowers in an intense, vibrant hot pink. Backed by exceptionally strong 32-inch stems, it delivers a spectacular grand finale to the cutting season.
A Quick Note on Fall Bare Roots
Peonies are best planted in the autumn when they are dormant, allowing their root systems to establish through the winter for strong spring growth. While our spring flower shipments have concluded, these new varieties are being prepped right now for our upcoming fall bare-root launch.
